What is the In-Grid Editor?
The in-grid editor is what we call the tool which is opened when a user clicks on any of the Res. Name, Res. Type, Player Name, or Info fields of a tee time on the Timesheet. The basic functionality is to allow a user to enter booking information (including number of holes, reservation name and type, player names, green fee rates and buggies) or cancel a booking.
Whether or not green fee rates and buggies can be assigned via the in-grid editor can be controlled by parameters in Tools > System Configuration. These parameters are:
- Display Green Fee Rates on Timesheet page
- Hide buggy drop down on Timesheet page
What else can the In-Grid Editor be used for?
Further functionality is available with the In-Grid Editor. If the options described in this section are not available to you, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we can enable it for you.
This will allow multiple bookings to be managed from within the in-grid editor, new bookings to be created and add a new Cut option which is ideal for moving competition bookings - these are demonstrated in the below video:
Administrative users will also be able to record no-shows on the timesheet, a demonstration of the no-show feature can be seen below. Please note, No Show reasons can be added / amended in Tools > No Show Reasons.
