New Features
Member and Visitor Reminder Emails
A new setting called ‘Send booking reminder emails X days before booking’ is available in Tools > System configuration. When this is populated with a number from 1-99, it will send Member and Visitor bookings a reminder about their reservation this many days before their booking. The emails are not sent precisely 24 / 48 / 72 hours before a booking – they will be sent in a batch each morning.
To disable the feature, set the field to zero or blank.
In-grid Editor – by Default Make New Booking
Another new option in Tools > System Configuration called ‘In-grid Editor - by default, create a new booking’ can be enabled to change the behaviour of the In-Grid Editor.
This feature can be used to make the process of adding multiple bookings to a tee time even easier. When enabled, clicking on a blank ‘player name’ field on a tee time with existing bookings will automatically default you to add these players to a new booking. This is recommended to keep the likes of revenue and contact information separate.
Updates
Buggy Icons
If buggies are assigned to players using the below fields in the Booking Details page, this will be reflected on the overview of the timesheet with a small buggy icon by a player’s name.
Hovering your cursor over the buggy icon by a player’s name will display the number of the buggy assigned to that player.
Competition Purse Balance Notifications
After receiving feedback from clubs and members, we have disabled the emails that were being sent to members when the full list Competition Purse charges were processed for a competition.
Improvements
- When attaching a file to a mass email being sent, special characters in the name of a file could stop the email from sending. This has been resolved.
- A link in the clubs’ visitor booking notification email was directing users to the incorrect tee time, this has been fixed.
